Cut from premium acetate, the El Classico is heavier than most glasses but that's exactly what we wanted.
We wanted it to be substantial.
We didn't want the arms to flop about, we wanted the hinges to be sturdy.
We didn't want the logo to be printed on in plain white and call it a day.
We wanted the insignia it to be embossed in Gold. So you can feel the lettering on your finger tips.
We wanted emphasis on detail: metal inlays on the inside of the arm, sharp angular cuts and a UV400 Polarised black lens that could block out the Aussie sun.
And above all... Australian's don't fit a mold, we needed a pair of sunnies that can fit many face shapes and compliment a variety of fits.
Initially, we wanted to just debut the El Classico but the Noktra Breeze kept getting a tremendous amount of support. When we were deciding on what pair to go with.
And we realised it's a no brainer. It's perfect for a summers day or Sunday drive.
You can dress it up but more often than not it, just goes well with a white t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Right now we're teamed up with private manufacturers that supply some of the biggest eyewear brands in the world, but our end goal is to build our own facilities and keep everything made in Australia, for the world.

The Details Matter
For the El Classico, we wanted something that was slightly heavier, sturdy at the hinges and a frame that's cut from high-grade acetate. That was the north star for this design.
Thick Acetate Frame
Each frame is cut from dense, high-grade acetate. Giving it a rich, weighty feel.
Gold Embossed 3d Logo
We wanted you to be able to run your fingers across the logo and feel the raised lettering.
Sturdy Hinges
We didn't want loose, flappy hinges. These ones are smooth & sturdy.

We want to be at the frontier of timelessness, not at the mercy of what's popular. If they don't understand our Australian brand right now, then that's okay.
Because our mission goes beyond Eyewear and is guided by a simple idea: to leave a drastic continuing net positive impact on this world.

Do you only ship within Australia?
Yes.
At the moment, we're focusing on our local communities and regional areas.
In the future we will be expanding outside of Australia.
If you do really want a pair of Noktra's and live outside Australia. Contact us and we can arrange a special shipment.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout and based on your region.
Major Australian cities and towns have cheaper shipping than rural areas.
Our original idea was to offer free shipping Australia wide. That was until we realised how expensive it is to ship some rural places. We use AusPost.
